what is it about Toronto boys?

Amidst the reports of the resignation of Lord Browne of Madingly’s resignation as CEO of British Petroleum after perjuring himself in civil court in a failed attempt to conceal his three-year relationship with Jeff Chevalier, one question has not been addressed in the media. What is it about Toronto boys that makes them so attractive to English aristocrats. Sir Elton John plucked his future husband from Scarborough. Now Lord Browne picks an Etobicoke lad.

What does this say about the Toronto suburbs? What lessons were learned at Sir John A Macdonald and Martingove collegiates that enable these young men to fit into English society?

I am sorry Lord Browne had to forfeit over $30 million in bonuses and severance pay, but what could he have thought after taking his twinky to dinner at 10 Downing Street and setting him up in business with the help of BP resources and then thinking he should lie about meeting in a park rather than on the internet? Inn 2007, why did he think anyone cared?

BTW - the web-site where Browne and Chevalier are alleged to have met – www.suitedandbooted.com – is “down for technical reasons”; too much traffic?
