Thanks to National Newswatch for bringing this piece from The Huffington Post to my attention. Obviously the “reporter“, Giles Slade, has a gripe against tar sands oil and the nuisance of a pip-squeal neighbour but one had to laugh at his complete and utter disregard for factorial accuracy when he compares our PM with #43 and describes Harper and Geo W Bush as ”both sons of oil executives“. Here’s hoping the President’s briefing notes are more accurate. Does he know the difference between oil and natural gas? Can he apportion the drop in tar sands company values to environmental concerns AND the collapse sales to the US due to the collapsing economy and demand?
The flattering profile of Michael Ignatieff may be warming but no reason to celebrate in light of Slade’s contempt for the ”neighbor lady“.
