Liberal leader (designate) Michael Ignatieff took a run at explaining what he thinks should be US foreign policy priorities in Afghanistan, in The New York Times. Interesting reading as the piece is, it’s also refreshing to witness a Canadian politician who is respected internationally and has the time write such informed commentary at the same time as he is rebuilding the federal Liberal party and preparing for a national leadership and policy convention.
