one on one debate on sunnews?

With suggestions of a one-on-one debate, federal political leaders tweeting each other took on a whole new meaning yesterday. I dare you! I double dare you! Bring it on!

If the established networks (CBC, RC, CTV, Global) aren't interested in giving up another 90 minutes of prime-time air for a Harper-Ignatieff debate, what about SunNews? It's difficult to think of a better forum than the new right-wing news channel for the only two leaders with a chance to form a government. Layton and May would probably refuse to participate anyway. And what a publicity stunt for a network planning to launch mid-campaign! A political audience grabber that definitely would be worth the cost.
