Ontario Citizens' Assembly on Electoral Reform

This is one that has slipped under most radars. I was alerted to its first meeting via the York University daily bulletin - meetings will be help at York's Osgoode Hall Law School.

While certainly not an eager proponent of major changes to the electoral system, I recognise the need to be informed and sound-off on the strengths and weaknesses of the current system.
The Assembly - one representative from each provincial electoral district - has a website at: http://www.citizensassembly.gov.on.ca/en-CA/home%20page.aspx with information about the mandate and membership, a learning centre and details about how to become involved. Take heed.
