How many months ago was it? HIs critics said Michael Ignatieff was more committed to Harvard than to the Liberal Party and leading Canada.
After an illustrious career in Britain and the USA, Michael Ignatieff came home, assembled a runner-up leadership team, got elected in the decidedly working/middle class riding of Etobicoke-Lakeshore and continued working to build a nation-wide team of Liberals pledged to rebuild an injured party.
Once surrounded by doubt, all the other potential contenders for the leadership, including his life-long friend and competitor, Bob Rae, are endorsing him as next leader of the Liberal Party. I think we have just begun to notice his organizational and leadership potential.
